More than five hours after news broke out that the number two citizen of Bayelsa State, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo is dead, the state government is yet to make an official statement letting Bayelsans know the true situation of things.
News had broke out earlier in the day that the Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo slumped in his office and was taken to the Federal Medical Center, Yenagoa.
As at 8Oclock this evening, Bayelsans are yet to know whether he is dead or alive..
Some said he is dead while his Media Man, Doubara Atassi, told some journalists that he actually slumped but in a critical condition.
All calls put across to Atassi and Dan Alabrah, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Douye Diri were all not picked.
It was gathered that Ebiowuo Koku- Oboyai, Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, told a journalist that she was not aware of the information.
As at the time of filling in this report,no official statement from Governor Douye Diri or the Deputy Governor'd Office to make an official statement of what really happened.
